Company background: Health & Benefits Partners offers small group and mid market health insurance to businesses with 150 or fewer employees. Our team are experts dedicated to helping businesses find insurance plans that are custom fit to their employees’ needs and to the company’s budget. We are independent brokers who work with all of the major carriers. Health & Benefits Partners, in East Norriton, PA, is looking to hire someone to grow our lead generation pipeline of small businesses interested in health insurance for their employees.

Role summary: The person hired for this role will use multiple means to market for small business leads for us including use of Zoom info, purchased leads, LinkedIn, customer events, Pardot emails, Google Adwords, to name a few. The candidate will also perform similar lead generation and marketing functions for our sister company, Certior Financial, which is a financial planning firm that helps clients optimize their financial assets. This is a pre-sales role -- you will not be expected to actually sell or close clients just to find them and tee them up.

Who the role fits: This could be the right hands-on role for you, if the idea of helping fill the front end of a sales pipeline excites you and you are looking for a hybrid role - 3 days a week in our office in East Norriton, PA. It will be a fit if you also have experience using various sales and marketing software and tools for marketing and lead generation. We are looking for someone who isn’t afraid to use LinkedIn, email and the phone to develop and support the early part of the lead process. The role is a cross between direct marketing and sales, so we want someone who enjoys both.

Areas of Responsibility: 

Marketing:
Be involved with using Pardot to create emails to prospects, clients and leads.
Develop ongoing drip email cadence for prospects.
Support organizing and maintaining lists of contacts and leads in SalesForce and Pardot.
Interface with vendor who helps with managing Google Adwords campaigns and/or take over this function over time.
Coordinate and create all aspects of company client group meetups for coffee or dinners for networking purposes and to drive cross selling and new leads.
Work with management to develop a client referral program and help develop the collateral for it and support the efforts of the sales team on this.
Develop cross-sell campaigns to offer ancillary medical and other products to clients.
Perform analysis on costs of various marketing efforts and how many leads and sales each effort produces to determine if they pay and whether to change, do more or do fewer of each effort by type.
Gather from and/or interview sales team to get case studies and other content for website and blogs.
Be involved with coordinating production of blogs to clients and prospects.
Maintain LinkedIn profiles for Health & Benefits Partners and the four sales people including updating information, adding content, posting and responding to posts and comments by connections in each profile.
Perform other soft touch connection efforts to existing clients such as sending birthday cards, sending articles of interest to them and more.
Run point on ordering company swag and distributing it at events, to staff, to clients and to prospects.
Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and lost leads surveys.

This is not a sales role and you do not need to make cold calls.

Lead generation:
Use Zoom Info to target email efforts to cold leads who meet our target prospect.
Oversee use of AI tools to prospect for leads.
Manage offshore LinkedIn prospect person to develop leads and arrange Zooms.
Attend business group network events to develop business leads for the sales team.
Run point on the vendor Health & Benefits uses for lead introductions through their marketing efforts.
Arrange video conference appointments for the sales team with prospects.
Collect information from prospects to facilitate smooths handoff to the sales team member.
Use Salesforce CRM to track all of your efforts to prospects.
Handle incoming leads to company website in real time with Live Chat.

Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years professional marketing and lead generation experience.
Experience using email to develop leads.

Nice to Have Skills, Experience & Education:
Experience in the health insurance industry.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Software Skills Required:
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM.
Experience with using LinkedIn actively.
Marketing email drafting experience.
Experience using ChatGPT for writing copy and for other uses.
Blog posting experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Tech savviness with ability and desire to quickly master new software.

Software Skills Nice to have:
Experience with using Zoom Info.
Experience with Pardot for email campaigns.
Google Ad Words.
Live Chat or something similar.

Reporting:
This role will report primarily to the Operations Manager and also to the CEO.
